The server never trusts the client. When you buy a game pass, Roblox’s server verifies the transaction via Robux deduction. When you join a game, the server sends a list of your owned passes to the client – not the other way around. Can you spoof this? Only visually. A script can modify your local LocalPlayer ’s GUI to show a game pass icon as owned. But any attempt to fire a remote event (e.g., “Teleport to VIP room”) that requires server verification will fail.
