The film revolves around Lee Geum-ja (played by Lee Na-yeong), a kind-hearted and innocent woman who is wrongly accused of murdering a man and sentenced to prison. During her time in prison, Geum-ja befriends a fellow inmate, So-nam (played by Kim Hye-soo), and learns about the outside world through her. After her release from prison, Geum-ja sets out to find the real killer and exact revenge. However, her quest for vengeance becomes an all-consuming force that drives her to commit crimes, blurring the lines between right and wrong.
The performances in "Lady Vengeance" are outstanding, with Lee Na-yeong delivering a remarkable debut as Lee Geum-ja. Her portrayal of a woman driven by a desire for revenge is both captivating and haunting. The supporting cast, including Kim Hye-soo and Oh Ji-ho, add depth and complexity to the story.
The film's score, composed by Lee Byung-woo, perfectly complements the on-screen action. The music is a character in its own right, adding to the tension and emotional depth of the story.
